Turbo Hamster
ETH in, trading fees out as Bitcoin – with real risk to your deposit.
← Back to the safe hamstersYou deposit ETH. The hamster swaps half into Bitcoin (cbBTC) and provides both on Uniswap.
Traders swapping between ETH and BTC pay fees. Part of them goes to you – as Bitcoin.
The position only covers a price range (±8 %). When the price leaves it, it earns nothing until the keeper re-centers it.
What the Turbo Hamster can earn
Your ETH works in the Uniswap ETH/BTC pool. Every swap in the pool pays trading fees – you get your share as Bitcoin.
Basis: the pool recently paid around 20 % per year in fees. After rebalancing and our fee, realistically 8–15 %, sometimes less. Not guaranteed.
The catch: if one of the two coins rises strongly, the pool automatically sells some of it – you end up holding more of the weaker one. This price loss (impermanent loss) can eat up the fees. Example: if ETH falls 20 % against BTC, you're about 9 % behind “holding half ETH, half BTC”, before fees.
Withdrawing at the wrong moment makes a loss permanent.
