How to get your money onto Base
Hamstr runs on Base, a low-cost network by Coinbase, so your money has to get there once. Sounds technical, but it's just a few taps.

For network fees (gas). Without ETH on Base you can't deposit – about $2 lasts a long time.
Where are you starting from?

Open Phantom, tap “Swap”
On the home screen, tap “Swap” below your balance – or the arrows icon ⇄ in the bottom bar. Both lead to the same swap.
Three golden rules
- Always choose the “Base” network. The wrong network can cost you your money.
- Send a small test amount the first time.
- Nobody from Hamstr will ever ask for your secret recovery phrase (seed phrase). Anyone who does is a scammer.
